Partnership boosts smart manufacturing opportunities for Australian companies

A recent partnership between CAD-IT Australia and PTC will boost opportunities for Australian businesses to improve product lifecycle management and digital manufacturing through innovative technology.

PTC  provides innovative solutions through a combination of Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Computer-Aided Design and Product Lifecycle Management. The PTC Partner Network provides a platform to explore new business opportunities in the convergence of the physical and digital worlds.

Gernot Keckeis, Managing Director at CAD-IT Australia, said the partnership would further assist companies to boost efficiency, become more agile to respond to market unpredictability, improve quality, and to enable new business models, but most of all will help to keep manufacturing in Australia.

“We are delighted to become a key member of the PTC Partner Network for Australia,” Gernot said.

“Digital transformation trends have grown at a rate that no one anticipated over the last 12 months. This has opened up new areas in product development, smart factories and digital connected workplaces.”

CAD-IT Australia is committed to providing digital solutions for real-world business challenges. We discover opportunities to help our clients and offer forward-thinking digital solutions.

Our customers will now have access to leading PTC technologies and more opportunities to collaborate with the right business partners.

“At CAD-IT Australia, we strive to provide our customers with the very best end-to-end solutions,” Gernot said.

“Partnering with a global leader such as PTC will allow us to drive the factories of the future.”

Brandon Teng, Senior Director of AP Channel Sales at PTC, said more companies were looking to optimise their product development and business process automations in the current digital  climate.

“We are pleased to welcome CAD-IT Australia into the PTC Partner Network as a solutions reseller and service partner,” Brandon said.

“Many enterprises across a range of regulated industries are looking to optimise their product development and factory processes and add new revenue streams at scale.

“We are thrilled that trusted advisor CAD-IT Australia will be leveraging PTC technologies alongside their expertise to deliver digital transformation at speed.”

PTC Australia helps companies around the world reinvent their design, manufacturing, operations and product servicing for a smart, connected world. In 1986 they revolutionised 3D design, and were the first to market internet-based product lifecycle management in 1998.

Today, their leading industrial innovation platform and field-proven solutions enable businesses to unlock more value in both the physical and digital worlds. With PTC, manufacturers  and developers can capitalize on the promise of the Internet of Things and augmented reality technology today and drive the future of innovation.
